Person treated by paramedics after house fire in Roman Road, Snodland

A person had to be treated by paramedics after a blaze at a house last night.

Police, fire crews and the ambulance service were called to an address in Roman Road, Snodland, just before 9pm.

People were advised to avoid the area while four fire engines responded to the incident

Crews tackled the flames for over three hours and one person was passed into the care of paramedics.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Emergency services have been contacted for further details.
