His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, affirmed that Dubai is today redefining the concept of smart and sustainable transportation systems and shaping its future features through a pioneering system centered on innovation and the use of artificial intelligence technologies for easy and sustainable transportation for all.
His Highness inaugurated today the 30th edition of the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) World Congress and Exhibition 2024 (ITS 2024), which is being held for the first time in the region and hosted by Dubai. It attracts 20,000 participants and visitors and 500 exhibitors from 100 countries, with 800 speakers from experts and decision-makers participating in its activities within 200 diverse sessions that include the themes of urban mobility, sustainable mobility, self-driving transport and innovation.
His Highness said in a post on the social media platform: “Today we inaugurated the activities of the 30th session of the International Conference and Exhibition on Intelligent Transport Systems 2024 ITS, which is being held for the first time in the region and hosted by Dubai.”
His Highness added: “The event attracts 20,000 participants and visitors and 500 exhibitors from 100 countries, with 800 speakers from experts and decision-makers participating in 200 diverse sessions covering urban mobility, sustainable mobility, self-driving transport and innovation.”
His Highness continued: “Today, Dubai is redefining the concept of smart and sustainable transportation systems and drawing its future features through a pioneering system centered on innovation and the use of artificial intelligence technologies for easy and sustainable transportation for all.”
