LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was arrested and served warrants Thursday for 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, the Lexington Police Department reports.
Forrest Patrick Gobble, 37, was arrested and served at the Davidson County Jail in Lexington, a news release from LPD states.
Gobble was already incarcerated and being held on a $500,000 secured bond for prior sex offense charges, including statutory rape of a child, stemming from an investigation in Lexington in June of this year.
In that incident, Gobble was found engaging in sexual activity with a 14-year-old female in a car.
After Thursday’s arrest, Gobble was given a $250,000 secured bond, bringing his total bond to $750,000 secured.
Thursday’s charges are the result of the continued investigation of the June case, in which authorities allegedly found child sexual abuse material on Gobble’s digital devices.
