There are delays on a busy A-road this morning due to two crashes.
Emergency services are at the scene on the A299 Thanet Way, near Herne Bay.
The first crash happened just before 6am, when a car struck the central reservation on the coast-bound carriageway near Reculver.
Shortly after, a second vehicle travelling London-bound came off the road.
A police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 5.51am on Tuesday 15 October to a report that a car had struck the central reservation on the eastbound carriageway of the A299 Thanet Way near Reculver.
“A second vehicle travelling near the same location in the opposite direction is also reported to have left the carriageway.
“Officers, paramedics and fire crews attended the scene where the motorist from the first collision reported minor injuries and the driver of the westbound vehicle was treated for injuries.
“The eastbound carriageway is currently partially closed while arrangements are made to recovery the vehicle on that side. The westbound carriageway is now fully open following a partial closure.”
Traffic is queuing on the London-bound carriageway between the Nicholas at Wade and Heart in Hand Road junction.
KCC Highways have warned drivers to expect delays in the area.
