Police on Saturday announced the arrest of a 34-year-old man on suspicion of having stolen a car.
The car, which the police estimate to be worth €2,000, was reported stolen by its 53-year-old owner on October 4.
The owner said it had been stolen between September 15 and October 4 from an underground car park in Paralimni.
The car was spotted by an off-duty police officer in a village in the Famagusta district on Thursday at around 9.30pm.
During police investigations, evidence emerged against the 34-year-old, and he was arrested at around 9.30pm on Friday.
