Search and rescue specialists, including dogs and drones, have been spotted at one of the county’s castles this morning.
Emergency services were called to Leeds Castle near Maidstone at 6.30am, with a dozen vehicles in attendance.
KentOnline believes it relates to a missing person’s investigation.
The adjoining golf course close to the site has been closed off.
Leeds Castle has declined to comment on the matter.
