Technical problems prevented passengers from individually choosing the movie they wanted to watch on a “North Airlines” flight.QantasAustralian flight from Sydney to Haneda Airport in the Japanese capital Tokyo.
This prompted the flight crew to choose a unified film to be shown simultaneously on the screens in front of the seats throughout the plane.
Their choice of the exciting dramatic film “Dadiu” with Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn was a surprise to many, and to the airline itself, which apologized on Tuesday for the incident.
According to one of the reviews of what happened during the trip, the film included verbal references nationality Explicit, in addition to a “brief but clear shot” of sexual organs and “conversations and text messages” with content pornographic.
A Qantas spokesperson said: “Clearly the film was not suitable for viewing for the entire flight and we sincerely apologize to customers for this experience.”
The Australian airline indicated that once the error was alerted, “the content presented on all screens was changed and a family-friendly film was shown for the remainder of the flight.”
She added, “We are conducting a review to find out what led to the selection of this film.”
