St. John’s UCC

POTTSTOWN — St. John’s UCC, 11 S. Price St., welcomes all to join in worship on Sunday at 10:15 am. We will be celebrating Veteran’s Day and recognizing our Veterans. If unable to join in person, the service will be available for viewing on YouTube later in the day. St. John’s is hosting the Beacon of Hope Homeless Shelter throughout the month of November. Our Little Pantry, located in the churchyard facing High Street, is stocked weekly with water, food, and personal care items for community members in need. Food is also being collected to support Operation 143, which provides food to schoolchildren in the Pottstown and surrounding school districts. AA meetings are held throughout the week on various days/times.

Christ Lutheran

BARTO — Christ Lutheran Church will worship on this the Twenty-Fifth Sunday after Pentecost on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 9:00 a.m. for a worship service led by Pr. Matthew Finney, who will also give the sermon for the morning. Immediately following the worship service, the annual fall Congregational Meeting will be held in the sanctuary for all voting members. Coffee and Conversation will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the Welcome Center. Confirmation Class will stay for the Congregational meeting and then will have class in room I. On Tuesday, November 12, the December Niantic News newsletter articles are due into the office. At 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, there will be Quilt tying in the social hall followed by the ladies’ meeting at the church to carpool to Chino’s, Rte. 29 (Chestnut Street), Zionsville at 11:30 a.m. for 12 noon lunch. The Senior Choir will rehearse on Wednesday, Nov. 13, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room. The church is located at 222 Niantic Road between Routes 663 and 100 about a mile east of Bally.
