T + T – Normal size

Emirates College for Advanced Education has announced the launch of new tracks in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education In-Service Programme and the Postgraduate Diploma in Education for Pre-Service Secondary Level, to enable aspiring educators and teachers to obtain accredited academic programmes in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies.

Dr. Mai Laith Al Taie, Director of the College, said: “The Emirates College for Advanced Education is keen to provide Arabic language and Islamic studies teachers with the skills and innovative practices necessary to raise the level of education in schools in the UAE.”

She pointed out that the educational outcomes of the new academic programs offered by the college do not only focus on the general requirements of the field of study, but also include skills and competencies outside the academic specialization, such as communication skills, problem solving, teamwork, and commitment to ethical standards, all of which support and enhance educational activities, which is reflected in the development of skills and the improvement of competencies among educators and teachers. All of the college’s programs are characterized by a local and international character in their content and standards, as they cover strong foundations in theories and practices that enable student educators to interact and constructively criticize all global educational issues, which are reflected in the educational and cultural needs of the UAE.
