Drivers are facing a traffic headache until next week on a well-used seaside route.
Maison Dieu Road has been closed on the north-bound route in Dover since this morning.
The stretch is out-of-bounds between the A20 Townwall Street outside Travelodge to the A258 Castle Street.
The closure is to allow broadband provider Openreach to carry out emergency repairs.
