Al-Houthi claims targeting Tel Aviv with drones

Areas near Tel Aviv were attacked by drones on Thursday morning, amid attempts by Israeli defense systems to intercept them.

Israeli press reports quoted residents as saying that they heard the sounds of explosions in Tel Aviv And areas close to it, resulting from attempts to intercept the drone attack.

Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for the Yemeni Houthi group, said on Thursday that the Air Force targeted a “vital target” in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, with a number of drones.

Al-Houthi said, “The operation comes within the fifth stage in the battle of the promised conquest and holy jihad.”

He stressed that the operation in Jaffa “successfully achieved its objectives by arriving the marches without being detected or shot down by the enemy.”

Al-Houthi confirmed through the spokesman that he would continue military operations until “the aggression against Gaza and Lebanon stops.”
