No party has yet announced its claim of responsibility for the attack, which coincides with violent Israeli raids on Beirut Its southern suburb.
Israeli press reports quoted residents as saying that they heard the sounds of explosions in Tel Aviv And areas close to it, resulting from attempts to intercept the drone attack.
The Israeli army announced that “the Air Force intercepted a suspicious air target in the sea area, off Gush Dan Beach.”
Later, the army said that it “spotted two drones and intercepted a third in the sea area off the coast of Gush Dan, and observed one drone crashing in an open area.”
Gush Dan is a large area in IsraelIt consists of the Tel Aviv and Central regions, and a small part of the southern region.
Israeli Channel 12 said that sirens sounded in Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv.
In a related context, Israeli media reported that alarm systems had been activated for fear of drones infiltrating the occupied Syrian Golan.
