Halloween parades are scheduled throughout Berks in October 2024.
Temple Halloween Parade: Saturday, Oct. 5, 6 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 6, 4 p.m. Sponsored by Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation Department. Line up at Muhlenberg Elementary Center. Route: Sharp Avenue to Kutztown Road to Mount Laurel Avenue, ending at Seventh Avenue. There will be food vendors.
Spring Township Halloween Parade: The Spring Township Lions Club will hold its 48th annual Halloween Parade Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. Rain date is Oct. 17, 7 p.m. Line up begins at Hillvale Avenue at 6 p.m.
The Spring Township Fall Family Fun Day will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, from 2 to 5 p.m. at West Wyomissing Park.
Mohnton Halloween Parade: The Mohnton-Cumru Lions Club Great Pumpkin Parade will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. The parade has been a seasonal tradition since 1956.
Prizes will be awarded. The top prize is $500 for the best float/dual entry. Line up begins on Sycamore Street. There will be food vendors. Parking is available on Wyomissing Avenue. The parade ends at Mohnton Park.
Boyertown Halloween Parade: The Boyertown Area Historical Society Der Gnom Karneval Halloween Parade will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. Rain date is Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. The first Boyertown Halloween Parade was held in 1912, according to the society. There will be food and merchandise vendors.
There will be judging in five categories.
Douglassville/Amity Township Halloween Parade: The Daniel Boone Optimist Club Halloween Parade will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 6:30 p.m., beginning and ending at the Amity Township’s recreation facilities at Lake Drive Park, 520 Lake Drive, Douglassville. The rain date is Tuesday, Oct. 29. There is a costume contest with cash prizes.
There will be food vendors and music by One 2 One Productions.
