5th Cheesetoberfest set for Saturday at SoulJoel’s

POTTSTOWN —    The TriCounty Active Adult Center will hold its fifth popular Cheesetoberfest grilled cheese competition on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 12 to 3 p.m.

Restaurants, caterers, and local organizations will compete for a trophy and the coveted cheese crown.  The Daisy Jug Band is slated to perform, and Art Fusion 19464 and the Pottstown Children’s Discovery Center will be providing free kids’ activities.

SoulJoel’s at SunnyBrook is hosting the event this year. The new location allows for options no matter the weather.

“Cheesetoberfest is a rain-or-shine event,” said Brian Parkes, executive director of the TriCounty Active Adult Center.  “So being able to use a location like SoulJoel’s at SunnyBrook is perfect.”
