Emirates Humanitarian City in Abu Dhabi provided an educational environment for 408 Palestinian students who came from the Gaza Strip to the UAE with their companions, as part of the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to treat 1,000 children in the country’s hospitals, and to host 1,000 cancer patients for treatment in the country.
These efforts are in addition to the UAE’s initiatives supporting the education of Palestinian students, including the initiative of His Highness the President of the State to provide $20 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which operates 711 schools.
In the Gaza Strip, the Indonesian medical team, as part of Operation “Gallant Knight 3”, continues to provide treatment to wounded Palestinians, working alongside the Emirati medical staff to provide medical support to the wounded and injured.
Since joining the UAE field hospital and the UAE floating hospital, the Indonesian team has contributed to treating 250 cases and performing 180 surgeries. The number of cases treated in the UAE hospitals in Gaza reached 49,000 cases, and 3,000 successful surgeries.
