Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department yesterday amounted to AED 2.47 billion, through 1,057 transactions. The department witnessed the registration of 881 sales worth AED 1.5 billion, including 77 land sales, 703 residential unit sales and 101 building sales.
Emaar South topped sales in terms of value with AED 69.8 million, with 54 transactions, followed by Jumeirah Lakes Towers with AED 18 million, resulting from 8 residential apartment sales deals. The real estate market recorded the sale of a commercial plot in Wadi Al Safa 5 for AED 55.4 million.
Mortgages recorded a value of AED 595.5 million through 155 transactions, including 45 mortgages for lands, 90 mortgages for residential units, and 20 mortgages for buildings. The market also witnessed the registration of 21 donations worth AED 76.1 million.
