$1 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Delaware County

A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Delaware County sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million for the Tuesday, Nov. 19 drawing, the lottery said Wednesday.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 5-35-50-51-59, but not the yellow Mega Ball 8, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.

Shamrock Beverage, 1010 MacDade Blvd., Folsom, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The lottery continues:

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.

Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.

Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. Players may visit palottery.com for more information.

The Mega Millions jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $453 million, or $209.6 million cash, for the next drawing on Friday, Nov. 22.
